I really really enjoy working with the Hair Food family because of their kitchen-inspired recipes that truly nourish and maintain the health of your hair without all those nasty harsh ingredients. It’s very important to me that the products I use are sulfate-free, paraben-free, dye-free, and mineral oil-free!

My two latest favorites to just hit the store shelves are their kitchen-inspired Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse and their Turmeric & Almond Oil Detangling Milk.

Hair Food’s Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse gently cleanses to remove buildup without stripping your hair of its natural oils, for the days you want to take a break from shampooing. And it smells wonderful! Their Turmeric & Almond Oil Detangling Milk which I love to use as a leave-in moisturizer, smooths, detangles, and fights frizz to leave hair soft and shiny.

I wanted to take a break from using shampoo so in my latest video tutorial, I show you how I apply the Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse to gently remove buildup from my scalp and my strands. Then I use my favorite Hair Food’s Coconut and Chai Spice Conditioner which volumizes and nourishes my hair. After rinsing out the conditioner I show you how I apply the Turmeric & Almond Oil Detangling Milk as my moisturizing leave-in. And as my last step, I apply Mango & Aloe Curl Defining Smoothie on top which is great for taming frizz and gives you defined curls. I finger coil a few of my strands and allow my hair to air dry or I diffuse with a blowdryer and then I use a pick for volume! I love using this combination of products because it leaves my curls super defined, shiny, and moisturized! I hope you enjoy it!
