How to Juice Without a Juicer/w Pineapple Ginger Green Juice Recipe

Would you like to learn how to juice without a juicer? I’m gonna show you an easy way with one of my favorite juice recipes, Pineapple Ginger Green Juice.

It’s important to know that only cold-pressed juicers will yield the most nutritional value from your juice. Regular juicers that use blades and blenders that use blades heat the produce while it’s blending and some of the nutrients are destroyed from the heat. A cold-pressed juicer has no blades and works by pressing your fruits and veggies into juice keeping all nutrients intact. And to take it further, if you want the most nutrients from any produce then blending smoothies and drinking everything including the pulp will give you the highest nutritional value because there are so many nutrients in the pulp/skin of fruits and veggies. Having a juicer is a privilege not everyone has, so I wanted to offer an alternative that still gives you great nutrients.

Pineapple Ginger Green Juice

1 cup pineapple, cut into chunks (more if you want it sweeter)

1 cup cucumber, cut into chunks

1 to 2 inches ginger

2 to 3 cups kale

a handful of mint leaves

¼ cup water

Directions:

Blend: Add all the ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend just until the fruit and veggies have broken down but not fully pureed.

Strain: Place a reusable nut milk bag (I purchased my Zulay Kitchen Nut Milk bags from amazon) over a bowl. Pour the juice into the nut milk bag. Gather the bag and use your hands to squeeze the juice through, this may take a minute. Discard the fiber left behind.

Drink: Serve your juice over a little ice, it’s best when cold, and drink immediately.

If you have any leftover juice, keep it refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one day. After a few hours, the vitamins and nutrients in the juice will begin to degrade. Drink the juice right away to get the greatest nourishment.
