Ginger Turmeric Tea

This tea is a great all-natural remedy for a nasty cold or sinus infection. It's delicious too! Ginger has antibiotic effects and can help digestion, detoxification, infections, inflammation, joint pain, circulation, nausea, and motion sickness. Turmeric is a very strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It’s known to cleanse the whole body, especially the liver.

It can be used to support digestion, treat fever, inflammation, and infections. The active ingredient in turmeric is called curcumin. Pairing turmeric and black pepper help to enhance the curcumin in turmeric by a thousand times, increasing its effectiveness. Lemon adds a boost of vitamin C.


☕️Ginger Turmeric Tea (1 serving)

Ingredients:

8 ounces hot water

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tablespoon raw honey

1 to 2-inch piece fresh ginger grated

1 teaspoon turmeric

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Pinch ground cayenne pepper

Instructions:
Combine in a glass, stir. Let stand for a few minutes, stir again and sip. Drink a few cups a day to make it more effective. Safe for everyone including the kids!
