This is my favorite super-easy Ginger Shot recipe using a blender! You don’t need a juicer to make ginger shots. Just pull out your blender and a fine-mesh strainer!

Ginger is one of those magic ingredients that really does everything:

  • It’s great for nausea and upset stomach

  • Aids in digestion

  • Boosts the immune system

  • A great natural anti-inflammatory

  • Provides liver protection

  • Supports your metabolism/burns fat

  • Is a natural anti-oxidant

  • Helps detoxify the body

Ginger Shot Recipe:

1 hand of ginger
1 quart coconut water

Optional add-in’s:

Cayenne pepper
turmeric
raw honey
apple cider vinegar
pineapple juice
elderberry syrup
lemon juice

Directions: Wash and chop the ginger root. no need to peel the ginger since you’ll be straining the juice before drinking it. Just roughly chop it to make blending easier.

Blend until smooth. Blend the ginger pieces and lemon juice until no chunks of ginger remain.

Strain well with cheesecloth, nut milk bag, or fine mesh strainer.

Serve. Ginger shots are meant to be drunk all at once as a quick shot. Be careful not to drink more than one shot a day since too much ginger can cause heartburn.

Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze in an ice cube tray ( I love the silicone ice trays) for longer storage.
